Parramatta's stunning second half of the National Rugby League season has continued with the Eel's brushing aside Penrith 48-6 at Parramatta Stadium.
Coming into the game on the back of six successive victories, the Eels made easy work of their west Sydney rivals in a performance that yielded eight tries.
Daniel Mortimer scored his first ever hat-trick and veteran winger Luke Burt grabbed two tries and kicked eight goals with Matthew Keating, Fuifui Moimoi and Joel Reddy also crossing the line.
Penrith went into the game sitting one place above the Eels in eighth spot, but were passed by Parramatta whose brilliant fullback Jared Hayne once again produced the performance of the game.
