The NBA superstar Kobe Bryant scored 28 points to help the LA Lakers to a 93-81 away victory over the Detroit Pistons, despite travel problems which meant the Lakers didn't arrive at their hotel until 4am on game day.
The Lakers have the best record in the NBA this season and the Detroit victory was their 22ndin 26 games.
