Taylor to play for Bushrangers

3:35 pm on 28 December 2009

The New Zealand cricketer Ross Taylor will suit up for the Victoria Bushrangers in a Twenty20 match tonight in Brisbane.

Taylor, who has signed as a guest player while on holiday in Australia, is available for the preliminary Big Bash final on January the 19th if the team qualifies.

The New Zealand Cricket Chief Executive, Justin Vaughn, says it's an ideal chance for Taylor to get ataste of another big international competition.

He says NZ Cricket is comfortable about releasing him, as there is no conflict with his domestic commitments.
