The ailing English football club Portsmouth is confident of receiving a cash reward for reaching the FA Cup semi-finals despite the club's financial troubles.
Portsmouth, which is sitting at the bottom of the Premier League table, entered administration late last month with estimated debts of more than $165 million.
Portsmouth is owed more than $700,000 for beating Birmingham City 2-0 in the quarter-final, plus broadcasting fees after the match was televised live.
FA Cup rules state that any club entering administration during the competition must contact the Football Association to claim their winnings.
The club's administrator Andrew Andronikou says Portsmouth and the FA had a meeting last week and he doesn't envisage there'll be any problems in gaining the cash reward.
Portsmouth will meet Fulham or Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley next month for a place in the final.
