The Tour de France gets underway in Rotterdam tomorrow morning, with the New Zealand cyclist, Julian Dean, starting in the Tour for the sixth time.
The tour starts with an 8.9 kilometre prologue time trial, and Dean says he expects the Swiss rider, Fabian Cancellara, to be the dominant force in the opening stage.
He says during the past two years Cancellara has proven he's almost unbeatable in time trials, and is likely to wear the yellow jersey for the first week to ten days of the Tour.
But he says after the flat stages, the competition is likely to get a lot tougher, and will become anyone's race.
Dean says his Garmin Transitions team will be focussed on making the most of its sprint opportunities.
