Argentina star ponders which rugby competition to join

Argentina loose forward Juan Fernandez Lobbe says it's difficult to know which major international competition the third-placed Rugby World Cup side should join.

Argentina meet world champions South Africa in the Mandela Tribute match on Saturday after losing their last two Tests to Scotland and Italy.

The match, which is part of the celebrations for former South African President Nelson Mandela, will be watched closely by representatives of the Tri-Nations contestants South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Lobbe says with the bulk of the Argentinian team playing for European clubs it would be easier for Argentina to join the Six Nations but as a southern hemisphere nation he says it would also be nice to play in the Tri-Nations.
