Lance Armstrong's former team manager, Johan Bruyneel says physically there is no reason why the American cyclist cannot stage a successful comeback next year at the age of 37.

The seven times Tour winner Armstrong plans toreturn to racing in 2009 after a three-year absence.

Bruyneel, who now manages the Astana team, says Armstrong is exceptional.

Her says the 39-year-old Spaniard Juan Llaneras won a gold medal on the track at the Olympics in Beijing so more than age, winning is a question of psychology.
