The Spanish golfing great Seve Ballesteros has been able to speak to his family and continues to make progress in his recovery from a third operation on a brain tumour.
The Madrid hospital treating him says Ballesteros continues to evolve favourably..... he's conscious, is breathing spontaneously and can talk with his family.
A hospital spokesperson says the 5-time major winner, has begun to receive rehabilitation treatment in the intensive care unit.
The 51-year-old Spaniard underwent a third operation on a brain tumour just over a week ago.
