The Leicester halfback Harry Ellis has been banned by his club for one week following an alleged dangerous tackle on Perpignan's Dan Carter.
Carter made his Perpignan debut in the 26-20 Heineken Cup win on Monday but landed on his head from a height of six feet after one challenge.
Ellis will now miss the Premiership match with Newcastle at the weekend.
And the 26-year-old still faces a European Rugby Cup disciplinary committee in Dublin on Friday night.
