Some of the top cyclists at the World Road Championships in Melbourne aren't judging three-time Tour de France champion Alberto Cantador just yet after he failed a doping test.
The Spanish star has been provisionally suspended after testing positive for a miniscule concentration of clenbuterol during this year's Tour, but he claims his failed test resulted from eating contaminated meat on the second rest day of the tour in July.
Contador would have been tested every day of the Tour, but this positive test only showed up once.
The British rider David Millar, who finished second in yesterday's Time Trial and was suspended in 2004 for a doping violation, says he'll wait before making judgement in this case.
Millar says the positive test dosn't make much sense because it was a rest day, and there are a lot of questions still to be answered before anyone can start making accusations.
