The New South Wales Waratahs have re-signed former All Black fullback Sosene Anesi for the upcoming Super Rugby season.
Anesi joined New South Wales last season after a spell with the Chiefs but struggled to win over the Sydney Football Stadium faithful before losing his place to incumbent Wallabies fullback Kurtley Beale.
Waratahs coach Chris Hickey has been impressed with Anesi's form for Waikato during this season's ITM Cup but called for him to deliver on the Super Rugby stage.
Auckland wing Atieli Pakalani has also inked a deal to play his Super Rugby in New South Wales.
