The former New Zealand cricket international Hamish Marshall has been named in the Ireland squad for their tour of India next month.
Marshall, the former Black Caps batsman has been included for the first time, however he doesn't become eligible to play for Ireland in official ODIs until April next year.
Ireland has asked the ICC for special dispensation to allow him to take part in the World Cup which starts next February.
