The Nelson Giants have beaten Taranaki 87-83 and Southland have beaten Otago 100-58 in the latest matches in the National Basketball League.
Nelson and Southland now have five wins and five losses to sit mid-table while Taranaki and Otago remain bottom of the standings.
Waikato and Hawke's Bay top the standings.
