The Silver Ferns have completed a three day training camp in Auckland ahead of leaving for the world netball champs in Singapore on Monday.

The coach Ruth Aitken says the focus has been on improving the input of bench players in the wake of the recent drawn series against Australia.

The squad's come through relatively unscathed injury wise although there was a brief scare when midcourter Liana Leota landed on Temepara George's ankle but Atiken says the injury's only minor.

A new Silver Ferns uniform has also been unveiled for the tournament.

It has a diagonal silver pattern, with a curving hammerhead shark design said to embody strength, tenacity, perserverance, stealth, keen senses and cunning, plus a bit of mongrel.
