The new US Open golf champion Rory McIlroy fancies his chances of making it three major victories in a row this year.
Back home following his runaway win in Maryland, 22 year old McIlroy told a packed news conference at his home Holywood Golf Club in Northern Ireland he has a good chance of winning next month's British Open championship and the US PGA championship in August if he can maintain his form.
McIlroy says the last few days have been like a whirlwind, and he's taking three weeks off before the British Open at Royal St. George's on England's south-east coast.
