Three new caps in Silver Ferns squad for England series

There are three new caps in New Zealand netball side along plus a new captain, for next month's two-Test series against England.

Shooter Catherine Latu is finally available having completed her international standdown period, having previously played for Samoa.

The Silver Ferns had wanted to include her in the World Championship squad earlier this year but was ruled ineligible.

Coach Ruth Aitken has also included 19-year-old defenders Kayla Cullen and Sulu Tone-Fitzpatrick in the squad, with regular captain Casey Williams and fellow defender Katrina Grant injured.

Laura Langman will captain the side with Irene van Dyk named as vice-captain.

The first Test against England is in Auckland on October 3rd and the second on October 6th in Invercargill.
