Black Caps cruise to one day win

The New Zealand cricketers cruised to a nine-wicket win in their opening one day match against Zimbabwe in Harare.

The home side started disastrously after winning the toss, losing four wickets for 21, but an unbeaten 128 from their captain Brendan Taylor saw them through to a respectable 231 for six.

Pace bowler Doug Bracewell took the first three wickets.

The Black Caps opening batsman Rob Nicol led the run chase with an unbeaten 108, Martin Guptill made 74 and Nathan McCullum 39 not out as they reached their target in the 44th over.
