Another review of swimming is to be carried out as the sport's national body tries to quell a revolt among its regions.
There's disagreement over the way the sport is being governed, prompting a group of swimming's regional bodies to recently demand the resignation of the entire Swimming New Zealand board.
At Swimming New Zealand's recent AGM it was agreed a major review of the sport will now take place.
In June an independent review of the sport's high performance programme found it dysfunctional, leading to the departure of high performance manager Jan Cameron and Swimming NZ chair Murray Coulter.
Swimming New Zealand's current chairman Ross Butler says the latest review which will begin within a month, will be led by New Zealand Cricket chairman and former New Zealand rugby union chief executive Chris Moller.
Butler says the disagreement had a negative impact on the sport and organisation.
He says the review won't interfere with the national squad's preparations for the London Olympics and should be completed by mid-April.
