Arsenal match delayed a day

6:10 am on 23 December 2011

Arsenal have moved their English Premier League football game with Wolves back a day to December 27th because of industrial action on the London Underground.

The Tube network is set to be disrupted on Boxing Day, after attempts to halt the strike failed in the High Court.

Chelsea have confirmed their Boxing Day match with Fulham will still go ahead.

London mayor Boris Johnson had hoped to avert the Boxing Day walkout but his challenge was dismissed by the judge.

In addition to the industrial action on the Underground on Boxing Day, one of the busiest shopping days of the year in London, no overground trains are due to stop in the capital.
