Immigration New Zealand is reviewing the visas of 200 foreign students after laying charges of immigration fraud against two men.

The students are enrolled with the Kingsland Institute, a private education provider in Auckland.

Immigration New Zealand says two men appeared in the Auckland District Court on Tuesday on charges under the Immigration Act related to providing false and misleading information.

One of the men, Donald Han, is a manager at the Kingsland Institute and the other, Chheogyal Jah Om Sandyang Lepcha, is a licensed immigration adviser.

Immigration head, Nigel Bickle, says the men were arrested after complaints by two prospective students at the institute.

The institute provides courses in business, IT, cooking, and English.

Immigration New Zealand would not provide details of the charges.
