1:15 What it's REALLY like to drive an EV in Aotearoa

New research indicates that EV registrations could overtake petrol cars in less than a year.

According to figures from data science company, Dot Loves Data, in 2014 there were fewer than 100 EVs registered in this country. However, in the first nine months of 2022 that number shot up to more than 13-thousand.

Five thousand new hybrid vehicles were registered this September alone.

Well, someone who knows all about making he switch to electric is senior lifestyle writer for Stuff Joanna Davis.

3:10 Why men are wholly responsible for unwanted pregnancies

It started with  a Tweet in 2018, "men are 100 percent responsible for unwanted pregnancies". Gabrielle Blair believes abortion is not an issue about women controlling their own bodies, it's about men controlling theirs. She's a pro-choice Mormon mother of six who says it's simple biology. Since the Roe V Wade decision that removes the automatic right to an abortion for women in America, she's taken her Tweet to the next level. She lays out 28 arguments for men taking greater responsibility in the abortion debate in her new book, Ejaculate Responsibly: A Whole New Way to Think About Abortion.
