Dr Sally Carson is the Director of the University of Otago NZ Marine Studies Centre and the co-author of the Collins Field Guide to the New Zealand Seashore.
Along with wildlife photographer Rod Morris she has written a colourful and comprehensive guide to the animals and plants that call the New Zealand seashore home.
Dr Carson also designed the Marine Metre Squared Project which is a national citizen science project on long term monitoring of the New Zealand seashore.
She talks to Jesse about the different fascinating creatures that populate our 15 thousand kilometres of seashore.
