Why women still change their names when they marry men

In an article for the North and South, journalist Anna Rawhiti-Connell has taken a close look at the tradition of women taking their husbands' surnames when they get married.

She was also surprised to find that Internal Affairs doesn't keep a track of marital name changes.

Anna talks to Jesse about how the age old tradition appears to have stuck in spite of so many other social changes.
