Amish Project

From Afternoons, 3:16 pm on 21 February 2012

For 90 days, 24-year-old Jake Reilly lived in a self imposed exile from social media. He called it "The Amish Project" - no emails, no tweets, no status updates for 90 days. The sabbatical from technology started as an experiment and turned out to be a revelation. He found time to ride his bike, do puzzles and actually talk to people face-to-face. Jake Reilly is a student at the Chicago Portfolio school for advertising and design, he talked to us from Chicago.
