Simon Morris reviews three films that all re-tell rather familiar stories - two documentaries and one German docudrama. Gloriavale is the first big-screen documentary about the secretive, fundamentalist commune on the West Coast. Made by Noel Smyth and Fergus Grady (Camino skies). The conference is German TV movie about the notorious 1942 Wannsee Conference, in which top Nazis planned the details of the "Final solution" - the Holocaust. And a documentary looks back on the career of the fashion designer Mary Quant, who more than anyone created the look of Swinging London in the mid 1960's. Directed by actor and fashion designer Sadie Frost (Absolutely Fabulous the Movie).
