Mount Hutt opens for 2019 season

The bosses of one of the South Island's major ski fields hope recent improvements will continue to drive visitor numbers up. Mount Hutt opened today for the 2019 ski season, with some keen skiers and snowboarders waiting almost half a day to be the first down the slopes this year.
