Tourism operators fear collapse if Aucklanders cannot travel

As debate surrounds how the Auckland border operates this summer - tourism operators that rely on them fear a death knell will sound if restrictions aren't lifted in time.

At the moment free travel between Auckland and the rest of the country relies on regions hitting their 90 percent vaccination targets.

Some operators believe the government's set an unattainable goal. Katie Todd reports.
