More than 20 New Zealand athletes are all at sea after the cancellation of next month's World Beach Games.
The second edition of the Games was to be held in Bali, but the Indonesian city has withdrawn as hosts just weeks before the opening ceremony.
Organisers have been unable to find an alternative host for the 10 day event that was to be attended by more than 1,500 athletes from around the world competing across 14 disciplines.
