An Auckland trust set up to conserve land known as the Fort Takapuna Historic Reserve, has withdrawn its legal action against the Crown - and plans to argue its case before a Select Committee; The Waitangi Tribunal has been told children are losing a wealth of Maori knowledge because of Ministry of Education regulations; The Tauranga-based Iwi, Ngati Ranginui has launched a campaign to find more than five-thousand of its people spread around the country and overseas; In a week's time, thousands of Maori from throughout Australia will be converging on Canberra for their regional competition to select their finalists - to send to Te Matatini national kapa haka festival in Rotorua next year.
