Te Papa Tongarewa - the national museum says now several Maori ancestral remains are back home they can finally be given the dignity of a proper tangihanga; The newly elected mayor of Rotorua, Steve Chadwick, has been sworn in - opening new pathways between the district council and Te Arawa tribes; The Maori and Mana Parties have taken the first step to mend relations by agreeing to develop policies to improve Maori outcomes; A study has found that Ngai Tahu young people are generally more financially savvy than their peers.
