2.00 LIVE - Festival special -BIG GAY OUT

With the reg light traffic system causing most festivals to cancel. We at Music 101 thought we would bring the festivals to you. This week Pride Festival was meant to be in full swing and the Big Gay Out would be happening down at Coyle Park. In celebration of this we wanted to play some of the artists who have played.

Ladyhawke was meant to headline this year, so we dug up a performance of her at the Kings Arms from 2008.

Mahinarangi Tocker played the Hero Festival Big Gay Out 2006 & 2007, so we found a performance of 'Songs For Many Voices’ at Helen Young Studios 1999.

Anika Moa performed at the 2011 Big Gay Out. We found  “Miss Universe” Live at the Kings Arms in October 2017.

Mild Orange are currently on tour in the US, and have just released their third album Looking for Space. Mehrt, Josh, Tom and Jack tear apart the four walls that defined their unique bedroom pop sound, capturing the wilderness that lays beyond. Charlotte caught up with Merht while he was hanging out at a skatepark in Lower Manhattan.
