Sampha is a British singer, songwriter, and producer who has worked with music heavy weights from Kendrick Lamar to Frank Ocean.

His break out in music came when he collaborated with the electronic producer SBTRKT (subtract) and listeners quickly swooned over his rich singing voice.

Sampha’s debut studio album, "Process," went on to win the Mercury Prize for Album of the Year in 2017. His new record Lahai, is nothing short of spectacular mixing west african beats with jungle and jazz.

Sampha speaks to Maggie Tweedie about his finding his feet in fatherhood and writing songs that stay with you.
