Habibi Funk Records is a reissue record label based in Berlin, Germany dedicated to releasing music from the Arab world.
The music the label releases is fantastic - Egypt Funk, disco and synth-pop from Lybia, rare music from the 70s and 80s from Lebanon, Sudan, Algerian.
The label was co-founded by Jannis Stürtz, who also works as a DJ using the name Habibi Funk who is coming to Aotearoa for some DJ shows:
