09:05 Landcorp - Forest & Bird to work together

The country's biggest farmer and largest conservation organisation are to work together to promote environmentally friendly farming practices.State-owned Landcorp, now known as Pamu, owns or manages 125 farms.It has just signed an agreement with Forest and Bird which will see the two organisations work together on researching, implementing, and promoting agricultural practices that protect the natural environment.  Lynn Freeman talks with Pamu Chief Executive Steven Arden and the Chief Executive of Forest and Bird, Kevin Hague.

09:20 High relapse blamed for persistent gambling-related harm

The state of the country's gambling problem is being revealed. The National Gambling Study shows that while participation is down, levels of gambling-related harm are not. The research, conducted by Auckland University of Technology and funded by the Ministry of Health, is one of only two gambling studies in the world that has followed and assessed a large national sample over time. Professor Max Abbott,  is the Director of the Gambling and Addictions Research Centre.
