Historic NPC rugby final between Taranaki and Tasman

There's growing excitement in Taranaki ahead of tomorrow's historic National Provincial Championship final at Yarrow Stadium between the home side and the Tasman Mako's. If they win, it'll be the first time Taranaki has ever won the National Provincial title. It's a big achievement for Tasman too - just six years ago, the New Zealand Rugby Union announced that Tasman along with Northland would be relegated from the competition. Andrew Judd is the Mayor of the New Plymouth District, and Peter Barr is the former Chief Executive of Tasman Rugby, who fought to keep the Tasman union in the NPC competition.
