Ed talks to Kathryn about Mongolia which he says is a country at a crossroads with a relatively young Prime Minister trying to push through aggressive reforms and to open up the country to foreign mining companies, while dealing with tough geopolitical tensions with China and Russia. 

It appears regular climate change negotiations between the US and China are set to be resumed after nearly a year following a visit by Joe Biden's climate envoy, John Kerry to Beijing this week.

And a US army soldier stationed in Seoul facing a military tribunal has managed to get himself into North Korea.
