Professional snowboarder Kevin Pearce is the subject of the documentary, The Crash Reel, which tells the story of his recovery and comeback from a traumatic brain injury. The Crash Reel, directed by Lucy Walker, screens at the New Zealand International Film Festival in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
