Feature Guest - David Elliot

From Nine To Noon, 10:11 am on 13 August 2013

In 1999, David Elliot found a dinosaur bone on his farm in Western Queensland - the bone of a gigantic 95 million year old sauropod. That finding led to more dinosaur bones being discovered - and the Australian Age of Dinosaurs project being established on the family farm in Winton, Western Queensland. It is now the world's largest collection of Australian dinosaur bones and the biggest fossil preparation facility in the Southern Hemisphere, as well as hosting digs for dinosaur enthusiasts from around the world.
