The Panel with Chris Clarke and Jennie Moreton (Part 1)

From The Panel, 4:03 pm on 30 January 2018

We take a tour of some of the hottest parts of the South Island today. A school in Central Otago is letting kids take off uniforms and dance in the sprinklers and an Ophir sheep farmer says he may never have seen such intense, regular hot weather. The Southland city's Water Manager, Alister Murray, responds to intense criticism of a decision to go ahead with waterblasting the roof of the Southland Museum and Art Gallery. Ratepayers have labelled it arrogant and farcical. The Prime Minister will unveil legislation for child poverty reduction, a key part of Labour's election manifesto, and a part of the Government's first 100 days commitment. The Panel also give their views on the wider performance of Labour so far.
