Political commentator Bryce Edwards has written an opinion piece today saying the campaign for free universal dental care must continue.
Currently oral health is separate from general health so doesn't come under the public health system. Young people get free care until they're 18.
Mr Edwards argues this affects the poor in our country as many forgo dental care as its too expensive.
