Micro-plastics in fish...and us

From The Panel, 4:21 pm on 25 October 2018

Micro-plastics have for the first time been found in human waste. It's believed we may be ingesting them from the fish we eat.

A listener has asked us to clarify whether fish in New Zealand have been found to have tiny plastic particles in them.

ESR's Dr Olga Pantos is leading a research project into micro-plastics and joins The Panel to explain what they may be doing to us.
