Eyebrows have been raised in Australia about why Australian Open tennis players find hard lockdown so tough. The Panel speaks to Peter Terry, Professor of Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland about 'pedestal syndrome'. New Zealand is in a psychological crisis, with higher demand than ever but a continuing shortage of psychologists. The College of Clinical Psychologists president is Dr Malcolm Stewart, who is part of the Psychology Workforce Task Group trying to increase the number of pyschologists in New Zealand, and he speaks to The Panel about what's behind the shortage. A charity giving out free children's shoes in Palmerston North has distributed 2,600 pairs to date. The Panel speaks to 16-year-old Benjamin McQueen-Davies who runs Share a Pair NZ.
