There's a new edtor in chief at the Gisborne Herald for the first time in 29 years. Iain Gillies has traded his job as editor to become a part time sports reporter. She is one of New Zealand's most decorated Olympians, but she says she's lost the passion for competing after 24 years. Kendall Won Gold in Barcelona, Silver in Atlanta and Bronze in Sydney. She had thought about working towards the London olmpic games, but has decided the fire just isn't there.
