The demolition of the hot pools complex in the north Auckland town of Waiwera spells the end of an era not just for that area, but many families who enjoyed the facilities over the years.

Following a few turbulent years under Russian ownership, the resort is now being torn down in order to attract new buyers to develop.

Fraser Brown's family owned the complex for a number of years, he talks to Jesse about his memories and feelings over the demise of the pools.

You'll probably recognise the name behind the soundtracks of some of our biggest films, Hunt For The Wilderpeople, Boy and Nude Tuesday.

And now he's one of the names behind the score of the new TV drama Far North.

It came out on Monday and is about one of New Zealand's biggest drug busts - the 449 kilo's found on 90 mile beach in 2016

For Bookmarks today we have former politician, diplomat, musician and author Graham Kelly on the show.
