One of UKs legendary dance music duos BASEMENT JAXX are returning to NZ this summer for one day to perform at Love Your ways Festival.
The dance act that formed in the late 90s have released so many dance hits you will know - Where's Your Head At and Romeo.

Then they started playing with a full band for their live sets for a few years but have now gone back to the basics of playing as a DJ set these days. 

Charlotte Ryan asked Felix Buxton - One half of Basement Jaxx how these DJ sets felt.

2.10 The Phoenix Foundation Music 101 LIVE session

The Phoenix Foundation are celebrating 20 years since the release of their album 'Horse Power'

They will tour New Zealand this November, and perform their album in its glorious entirety for the first time ever.

To coincide, the album will also be released on vinyl - another first for The Phoenix Foundation.  

The Phoenix Foundation perform four songs and Charlotte Ryan talks to Sam Flynn Scott and Luke Buda about the release.

3.30 Pachyman returns to Aotearoa for Others Way Festival 

Pachy Garcia who goes by the name 'Pachyman' is an LA Based producer and multi instrumentalist from Puerto Rico.
He makes reggae / dub music in the traditional style of the greats like 'King Tubby' - using analogue gear and mixing it live on stage..

He was last  in Aotearoa earlier this year for Nest Fest that was cancelled due to Floods - but he managed to do one special show and see some sights.

- And lucky for us he is returning soon as one of the main acts at Others Way Festival on the 1st of December. 

Charlotte Ryan spoke to Pachyman from his home in LA and asked him to describe his sound in his own words.

Sam is Fijian-born Chinese, raised in NZ, and is recognised by many as being last years NZ Masterchef winner

He has a huge social media following – Especially after replating his hotel quarantine meals during lockdown.

Sam is a takeaway kid  proud member of the LGBTQ community and lover of pop music.
