8:12 Insight: Asbestos

Asbestos has been linked to the deaths of millions of people around the world. Since the 1980s, all types have been banned in New Zealand since the 1980s, but many buildings here still contain the substance, particularly in roofs and walls. White asbestos is still mined in a few countries, the industry claiming it is less hazardous than the blue and brown forms. But many scientists believe asbestos deaths will only stop once all its forms are banned.Written and presented for the BBC and the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists by Steve Bradshaw

8:40 Philippa Foster-Back

After 30 years experience in the corporate sector, Philippa Foster-Back is the director of Britain's Institute of Business Ethics. Her task is to ensure that the Institute meets its charitable aims of raising awareness and spreading best practice in the field of business ethics.

9:06 Mediawatch

Mediawatch looks at how ratings-driven news shows on commercial television are targeted by satirists and comedians. But are they just taking the mickey - or giving us an insight into what's really wrong with the modern media? Mediawatch also looks at some numbers in the news which didn't add up; and a supposedly-scandalous story which showed that people paid to manage the media can't agree on how it should be done.
