    George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)

    He's probably best remembered for 'Pygmalion', but that was just one of Shaw's many successful plays. Also a music and literary critic, essayist, political and social activist, vegetarian and amateur photographer, Shaw won a Nobel Prize for literature and an Oscar for screenplay.

    In two programmes Elric Hooper & Des Wilson look at the life and work of GBS and in particular his views on music
